Say hello to your Glenmore Park neighbours

Live around Glenmore Park and want to get to know your neighbours? You’re invited to a free BBQ at 60 Muru Drive on Wednesday 15 January between 5pm and 7pm as part of Penrith Council’s Good Neighbour program.

All you need to do is bring along yourself, or maybe a picnic blanket and some chairs to make yourself comfortable, and you can enjoy a sausage sizzle, drinks and ice-blocks along with a fun evening out getting to know your neighbours.

Penrith’s Good Neighbour Program

The Glenmore Park BBQ is part of the Good Neighbour program, a council initiative aimed at helping Penrith residents get to know their neighbours and establish strong community connections.

They are doing this by helping put on events such as this one, as well as offering advice, guidance and support on how to hold other neighbourhood events.

Anybody who is aged over 18 years and lives in the Penrith local government area can host a Good Neighbour event.

If you’d like to find out more information about the Glenmore Park BBQ you can contact Sarah Payne at sarah.payne@penrith.city or call 4732 7880.

For more information about the Good Neighbour program and how you can get involved, visit the Good Neighbour page on Penrith Council’s website.
